TM Apartment

The apartment is in Algés, on a four storey building from the 70’s. Like in most of the buildings in the neighbourhood it was characterized by the existence of several small compartments and severe programmatic disarticulation. Being on the first floor it benefits from the existence of a terrace.
The project relocates the kitchen/dining room making it adjacent to the terrace and eliminates several partition walls and communications thus making space for a large living room. The remaining communications are covered of wood enamel painted elements and sliding walls/doors that divide the house in logical units (day/night, public/private).
The almost complete absence of doors creates a continuous and fluid space suitable for everyday life.
